Abstract

The article presents a theoretical and conceptual model for the formation of communicative culture in future foreign language professionals. Communicative culture is considered an integrative personal and professional construct that ensures effective interpersonal and intercultural interaction in professional activities. Based on an analysis of contemporary psychological, pedagogical, and linguodidactic research, the structure of communicative culture is defined as comprising motivational-value, metacognitive, communicative-operational, and socio-behavioral components. The psychological and pedagogical conditions for implementing the model are substantiated, including the development of social intelligence, the formation of constructive metacognitive beliefs, and the strengthening of national identity as a foundation for intercultural communication. The content-related, procedural, and outcome-oriented characteristics of the model are identified, and the mechanisms of interaction among its structural elements are outlined. It is demonstrated that the implementation of the proposed model ensures the holistic development of communicative culture in future foreign language professionals and enhances their professional readiness for intercultural interaction.
