PHONETICAL AND LEXICO-SEMANTIC FEATURES OF GERMAN AGRICULTURAL TERMINOLOGY: TRANSLATION ASPECT
The article deals with the phonetic and lexical-semantic features of the translation of the terms of the agricultural sector. It is determined that the most common in the agricultural industry are terms that are related to the concept of «land». It is established that the terms are widely used in the botanical classification of names of agricultural crops, and their structure is to combine the two components. The rules for the transfer of German phonemes, which are not peculiar to the Ukrainian language, and the peculiarities of the accent in German terms, are described. It was also determined that the peculiarities of the phonetic nature of the terms include the doubling of letters in German. The use of transcription and transliteration in German terms is described, four types of transcoding are described: transcription, transliteration, mixed transcoding, and adaptive transcoding. The article contains a classification of terms of the agricultural industry, according to which they are divided into simple, complex and terms-phrase. It also identifies the translation techniques used in translating the terms of the agricultural sector and provides examples. It is established that such techniques include equivalent translation, calculations, descriptive translation. The article also contains information on lexical transformations used in the translation of German-speaking agrarian terms, including: fleshing out and generalizing, defining these concepts. It is concluded that the study of peculiarities of translation of German terms of the agrarian branch from phonetic and lexical-semantic points of view and ways of their transfer is important for translation, because due to the correct transfer of phonological and lexical-semantic systems from the original language to the language of translation, it will be possible to save and the uniqueness of the lexical unit of the original language.
