Abstract

The role of the Ukrainian translation in reproduction of the English grammatical peculiarities of information in abstracts on inventions is studied. In particular, the notions of information in abstracts, patent, translation and its transformations and equivalence, the most common English grammatical features of information in abstracts on inventions, as well as methods and examples of their translation.
