Abstract

 The article deals with the analysis of peculiarities of the Ukrainian public service advertisements in the lingual pragmatic dimension. It is substantiated that for studying these peculiarities it is possible to apply the main ideas of the speech acts theory, one of the key components of which isillocutionary force.The pragmatic classification Ukrainian public service advertising with taking into consideration the illocutionary force of the speech act is suggested.
