Abstract

The article investigates the question of aesthetic criteria of the art skill in poetics of Martin opitz and Mytrofan Dovhalevs’kyi. A brief review of typologically similar and quite distinctive features of the title, content and structure of “Buch von der deutschen Poeterey” and “Poetyka: sad poetychnyi” in contrastive aspect is proposed. The main philosophic and aesthetic concepts of the theoreticians are compared, which were stated in their poetics.
