Abstract

The article deals with the main difficulties arising in the process of translation of the poetic works written by Gary Snyder into the Ukrainian language. The main attention is being paid to the defining of the level of influence being made on the translation by the structural and semantic incompleteness of the original verse, produced by the special philosophy of life of the poet himself.
