The paper deals with the problem of lingual expression of «sexism» in the speeches and statements of American politicians of the Republican party. The brief review of the origin of the term «sexism» as a social phenomenon is considered in the paper. The definition of the concept lingual «sexism» as a discourse relevant one,which is based on gender bias, is given in the paper. Lingual «sexism» represents a kind of language asymmetry which reveals gender inequality. Gender stereotypes are regarded as the source of gender bias and therefore their definition is given in the paper too. Different means and ways of the verbal expression of «sexism» in the discourse of American politicians of the Republican party are studied and analysed in the paper.
