Abstract

The article deals with literary translation as a national and cultural dialogue. Interdisciplinary approach to translation, in particular its comparative aspect, is examined. The genesis of translation understanding as a dialogue in the national and world literary studies and comparative studies is researched. It has been established that translation is a broad dialogical process between the author and the reader through the interpreter, which includes reception and interpretation as the basis for establishing a dialogue between the text and the translator. It is noted that the study of such a dialogue by comparing the translation with the original at the text level allows to understand deeper the dialectics of the relationship between them.
Translation is one of the most important ways of entering a literary work as a translator of national and cultural discourse into another culture, but it cannot exist without mediation translation interpretation. Translation is the duality of the author and translator, the duality of languages and cultures. Hermeneutics understands translation much wider than interaction between two languages. Translation can also be in-language: when we want to understand the language of another person or written text, we also translate from the external to the internal.
The dialogue of cultures and literatures is essentially endless and uncompleted. Translation as a dialogue is a joint movement of the text and an interpreter as a reader towards each other, the purpose of which is mutual understanding, and the result of this mutual understanding is the text of translation.
