Abstract

Nowadays educational materials on paper are used less often in the educational process. Teachers are in search for new solutions for interacting with students and providing them with information. The emergence of Internet has contributed to development of new educational technologies, changing the knowledge transfer scheme and teaching methods. One of the leading tools for the distribution, storage, dissemination of information during the educational process is the Google classroom service. The possibilities of its use in teaching a foreign language are examined. The features of blended learning and flipped class models are discussed and general information about a Google classroom cloud service is presented. The reasons for the use of the Google classroom service in the process of mastering a foreign language by students in a non-linguistic university are formulated. The article describes the approbation of this service using the technology of blended learning and flipped learning. The authors present the types of tasks offered to students for in and out of class work focusing on the importance of using traditional teaching methods along with innovative ones.
The combination of independent online education and classroom training under the guidance of a teacher contributes to the personalization of the educational process, adjusting it to the students’ needs, regardless of the level of their initial training.
