Abstract

The article generalizes the experience of the lecturers of the Documents Science and Ukrainian Language department of M. Ye. Zhukovskyi National Aerospace University «Kharkiv Aviation Institute» and Ukrainian Studies and Latin of National University of Pharmacy directed to providing the scientific communicative competence and preraring the foreign students for writing and defending the research work in the language of study (Russian or Ukrainian). There are described the in-class study discussions conducted by the teacher for participating in which the student preliminary prepares the monologue speech by the non-adapted specialized text in Russian. The examples of the assignments for the synchronous and asynchronous discussion are given within the distant course of Ukrainian as a foreign language including forums, chats and webinars at the different stages of this course of study, which generalizes the experience of using it in the structure of distance course to improve the level of linguistic competence and the skills of participation in the scientific discussions. The comparative characteristics of using the webinars and forums has been held. The standards for holding the study webinars have been specified. The examples show the subjects of webinars proposed for the course indicating the positive and negative features of using of the discussion form as webinar, giving practical advices concerning the webinars provided in the study of Ukrainian and Russian as the foreign languages.
