INNOVATIVE METHODS OF THE ORGANIZATION OF TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES IN USA

This article analyzes the reasons for the low level of knowledge of foreign languages in the US, examines the actual problems of improving the quality of their teaching through the introduction of innovative techniques. Particular attention is paid to the communicative method and motivation in the learning process. In the US, the tasks of multicultural education are largely addressed through bilingual education, which helps children to realize their cultural and ethnic identity. It should be remembered that in scientific usage, bilingualism is a concept denoting the knowledge of equally two or more languages. The author notes the widespread use of technologies in the US, such as e-mail, chats, web conferences and a distance learning system based on them. A comparative analysis of the state of affairs in American and Ukrainian education allows the author to conclude that the US has made significant progress in introducing innovations, especially in the application of bilingualism in education, and the experience gained by them can be useful for its application in our country.
In general, the social and pedagogical results of bilingual education are positive. For example, it has been experimentally proved that this method improves the conditions for the successful teaching of students who have limited knowledge of English. Bilinguals turned out to be more inventive, active and dynamic.
