The article is devoted to the study of the cognitive and communicative dynamics of the development of textual concepts in the novels of The Trilogy of the Ants by the French writer Bernard Werber. The present study has shown that concepts present the illocutionary purpose of the writer and that their combination in the work creates a unique semantic and conceptual space. In the creation of the artistic text figurative thought plays a primordial role. Oriented towards the affective domain of the reader, the literary work realizes the communicative and aesthetic function and, at the same time, through the linguistic means manifests the conceptual image of the world of the writer and creates the fictional reality in his work. Key concepts have been defined that evoke global ideas in the works studied and ensure the interaction of mental communication between the author and the reader. In this article, we have identified the basic concepts such as ORGANIZATION OF SOCIETY, COMMUNICATION, COOPERATION, HUMAN/ANTWER that ensure the interaction of mental communication between the author and the reader, deepened in the historical and socio-cultural context and embodied in pieces. The grid of Key Concepts creates the significant basis of the text, allowing readers to discover a part of the author’s artistic world image that is based on the concept of literary text.
