GENERAL CHARACTERISTIC OF COMPOSITION AND LEXIC FEATURES OF THE SPEECH GENRE «TENDER DOCUMENTATION»

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the speech genre «Tender documentation». The genre analysis of the tender makes it possible to provide compositional features of such texts. The tender composition consists of the introduction and the main part, which, in turn, contains three sections. In order to accelerate the understanding of information, the structure of the tender documentation text consists of reference numbers.
 It has been researched architectonics of the tender document, which is interpreted as a set of horizontal and vertical components of the text and includes the central block, containing the introduction and its sections and the optional block to which the title page with information about the auction is referred.
It has been provided a general classification of lexical units, stating that the vocabulary of the tender documentation forms a group of common vocabulary and vocabulary limited by sphere of using. The second group covers special vocabulary (terms), which is the core of professional vocabulary and relatively common (non-specific) vocabulary, used in describing various aspects of professional activity.
Special vocabulary of tender documentation has been described; the reasons for using archaic vocabulary have been clarified; factors of lack of synonymous vocabulary have been determined. Particular attention has been paid to the terminological vocabulary and its types in the tender documents. The separation of commercial, legal, technical and insurance terminology has been substantiated and it has been stated that the specificity of terminological vocabulary is determined by the sphere of using.
