The article analyzes literary studies of the manuscript book "Wirydarz poeticki", which could help establish the presence of protograph remains in the main text of a well-known manuscript of Polish literature of the 17th century.
During the literary analysis, the author used a certain set of methods, but the most important was the semiotic analysis of the intertextuality of individual parts of the manuscript.
For the first time, it is proved that the hidden story is present in the cycle, which consists of four songs. This story is related to the time of Jakub Rynievych-Trembetskyi as the pastor of the Kiselinsk Congregation of the Socinians. The fact of the existence of the remains of the father's protograph, which was used by his son during the creation of his own handwritten book, has been proven.
