Abstract

The article explores the philosophical and social aspects of the network society in the context of the global digital revolution. The analysis is based on the concept of the world as a text, developed by Hans Blumenberg, and is applied to the modern conditions of digital communication and information flows. Particular attention is paid to issues of ethics and responsibility in the virtual environment and to the problems of surveillance capitalism, which are explored in Zuboff’s writings. The article also examines the challenges associated with changes in cognitive processes and new forms of social organization that arise under the influence of digital technologies. The study offers an interdisciplinary approach to analyzing the network society, combining philosophical concepts, ethical standards, and technological challenges of today. By doing so, it provides practical insights into the ethical and cognitive implications of the digital age.
