Abstract

The article investigates the artistic phenomenon of role lyrics. The problems of theoretical searches in literary critics concerning the lyrics subject organization specifics are analyzed. It also characterizes the spectrum of poetic speech subjects in role lyrics.
An attempt is made to typologize the role types of author’s consciousness expression in the Ukrainian lyrics of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The article analyzes the varieties of the hero’s actual role-type character (personalized and personified) as well as the formally-role type and its subjective forms (the hero-mask and the hero-emblem).
The article also considers the problems related to the methods of poetic role in text composition and speech writing. It outlines conceptually-substantive aspects which reveal themselves at the level of expression of the ideological and thematic concepts of the work. Unlike, of course, to a certain extent, the phenomenon of role-playing lyrics is rather complicated and, to a certain extent, has not yet been elaborated by modern literary criticism, in particular, by numerous divergences in which researchers attempt to determine its fundamental semantic signs. The problem of establishing clear conceptual boundaries between the defining lines of the typological models of the lyrical work subject sphere construction can hardly be resolved. In general, the analysis of the specifics of the lyrical work subject organization suggests that the boundaries between the emancipated researchers in the subjective forms when expressing the author’s consciousness are sufficiently conditional and open to various types of artistic interaction, subjective syncretism which ultimately enables the phenomenon of lyrical polyphony.
