Abstract

The article deals with the peculiarities of the expression of the evaluation, as well as the ways of its intensification in the context of the German dialogical discourse. Assessment, as one of the varieties of the manifestation of modality, involves a variety of subjective interference in the expression, including not only its corresponding interpretation, but also different emotional reaction of communicants on the heard. Estimated speech activity is an integral part of the process of interpersonal interaction, which is based on the expression of evaluative judgments by communicators in relation to everything around them. Emotions, as a psychic phenomenon, reflect in human consciousness its emotional attitude to the surrounding world. Emotional processes are always represented in the semantics of evaluative words used by communicants in different communication situations to verbalize the value-emotional relationship of the interlocutors to the heard.
The category of intensity has long been the subject of many linguistic explorations by well-known scholars, but still remains one of the most pressing debates on linguistics. The intensity of the expressions of the German dialogical discourse is realized with the help of lexical, word-building and morphological means. Intensifiers of evaluative expressions are used by communicators to emphasize or distinguish different shades of meaning in the context, as well as for communicative influence on the interlocutor.
