The article defines the specifics of the main topics of military content on the Internet resource of the regional media of Volyn “Insider media”. The thematic features of the materials are analyzed. Specific features of military content (the presence of manipulative practices, emotionally colored vocabulary) are identified. The article is based on the consideration of the military content of the Volyn regional online media specifics of the main topics of military content on the Internet resource of the regional media of Volyn “Insider Media”, using the method of content analysis as the main one. The period from February to May 2022 is important in the article from the point of view of the issues raised. The research set out to identify features of war-themed material in the first 100 days of a full-scale invasion as distinct from subsequent military content in the following months. The qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the thematic specificity of war-related materials were analyzed. The specific features of military content are identified: the presence of manipulative practices and emotionally colored vocabulary. Thanks to the results of content analysis and monitoring of regional online media, Volyn managed to distinguish the specifics of the topics according to the following attributes: content relevance, chronological relevance, documentaryism, repetition of topics, originality of materials, pragmatism, and imperativeness. The article attempted to emphasize and underline the importance of journalists’ responsibility for materials; it is necessary to observe ethical norms during the conflict in the country. The scientific and practical value of the research results is related to the possibility of further use of the analysis results in the development of recommendations for regional journalists specializing in the creation of military content. Also, the conclusions of the study will be useful in the further development of the chosen topic in the scientific field, in particular in the study of military content in general and at the regional level. The broader implications of the research findings on the vital role of the media in shaping public opinion, particularly in wartime, are highlighted in the conclusion.
