Formatting requirements

When submitting a manuscript for publication, the author(s) must also confirm that it complies with all established requirements.

  • The submission file is a document in Microsoft Word or RTF format.
  • The title page file contains information about the author(s) (in Ukrainian and English): first and last name; research profile ORCID iD (following the format: http://orcid.org/0000-0001-6308-6778); academic degree; academic title; place and address of primary employment; position; contact information: phone number, email, and address.   • The article file contains the title of the article in Ukrainian and English, as well as the UDC classification of the article (Example of article formatting).
  • The language of the text is Ukrainian, English, or Polish.   
  • The text should be typed in a 12-point font with 1.5 line spacing.  
  • The abstract and keywords must be provided in both Ukrainian and English (the abstract must contain 250 words, including spaces, and must be accompanied by three to five keywords).  
  • All illustrations, graphs, and tables must be inserted directly into the text at the location corresponding to their content. Only additional large-scale illustrations, graphs, and tables are presented at the end of the document. All illustrations, graphs, and tables created in Excel format must be submitted as separate files along with the text. Otherwise, separate electronic versions of images (illustrations and graphs) created using other services or software outside Microsoft Office should be provided with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.  
  • Mathematical equations and expressions must be created using the Microsoft Word Equation Editor.  
  • Internet references in the text must include complete and correct URL addresses.  
  • References in the text should be given in parentheses and include the author’s surname, year of publication, and page number(s). APA format was used for citations. Example of formatting: (Symonchuk, 2020, p. 68).  
  • At the end of the article, provide an unnumbered, alphabetically ordered list of the cited literature according to the APA format (7th edition). If there is at least one publication in Cyrillic in the bibliography, a References section must follow the bibliography. All sources in Cyrillic must be transliterated into English, with the English translation provided in square brackets []. For transliterating the Ukrainian alphabet into Latin script, it is advisable to use the online resource: http://ukrlit.org/transliteratsiia.
